- Starting with the exits, Versace on the Floor deserved to leave. About darn time. Then you got Give Love, leaving after that brutal drop last week. You will certainly be missed. Most Girls and Good Times were both destined to leave at some point, especially the former, due to the debut of Let Me Go, so I’m not surprised at all.
- In terms of the debuts last week, none really moved. 1-800-273-8255 jumped 5 to #20 (Thank you!), Why jumped 3 to #35, and Fetish actually dropped a spot to #31. Nothing special there.
- Unfortunately, Hoodie took the tail of the countdown. It was nice knowing it though. You will certainly be missed. (Watch I jinx it and it jumps 25 spots next week)
- So it looks like Back to You is really dying out right now. It’s sad that people really aren’t buying into Louis Tomlinson’s solo music, since he was my favorite member of One Direction.
- I wanna tell you all that two of our brown songs last week (It Ain’t Me/Castle on the Hill) got demoted to turquoise. So a new brown is L.A. Devotee. This is getting ridiculous. Let’s get some new Panic! At The Disco songs here and get rid of this one. Stay is also brown to the point where I would listen to the mediocre Get Low instead.
- Apparently, those jumps from Too Good At Goodbyes and Sweat didn’t last super long. It’s sad because they are both really good return songs from both Sam Smith and The All-American Rejects.
- Really, No Promises? Only up NINE (no Hitler reference) spots? That’s quite small for a 4 exit week.
- Galway Girl (which needs to hit #1 to get the obnoxious Strip That Down out of the way) is no longer my Guilty Pleasure of the Year. It is now Maroon 5/SZA - What Lovers Do.
- That jump to #5 two weeks ago for Praying didn’t last long. It went #5 —> #10 —> #14. Sad because this was the really good and soulful comeback I want.
- Feel It Still and Glorious are both very welcome into the Top 10. The former I heard many times throughout the week, and the latter, since it was Hale Construction Day (The builders of my school), at our Friday Assembly, we watched a video and Glorious played, which is why it is purple.
- Thunder can stay in the Top 5 for how long it wants. It also hit the Top 5 faster than Believer (I think). That says a lot because the last time I checked, Believer had 400M views on YouTube, and Thunder had about 160M.

Favorite Song(s) on the Countdown this Week 1 Year Ago: The Weeknd/Daft Punk - Starboy & Coldplay/SeeB - Hymn For The Weekend
Songs that Debuted 1 Year Ago
Niall Horan - This Town: While sweet, this was one of those boring songs that I felt like I couldn’t get around.
Andy Grammer - Fresh Eyes: I guess you can say this had success. Most praised Andy Grammer’s older music. This was catchy, then at some point, it started getting annoying.
The Weeknd/Daft Punk - Starboy: The best song from The Weeknd and I don’t think it’ll be topped ever.

What new P!ATD music, they haven't released a new song in months. And besides, most of DOAB isn't even new, it's almost two years old that album is.
ReplyDeleteWhat I meant is they need to make a new album or single, then Hits 1 needs to pick up on that, then they need to get rid of L.A. Devotee.
DeleteGelography, I love your post!!!
