I’m surprised Meant to Be didn’t air much this week. The music video was released on Monday, so that’s a sign of popularity.

Blurbs (10/28/2017)
Save Me A Blurb Next To You, Yeah..... (worst title ever)
~ Starting with the exits — wait, there are no exits.
~ Zoinks. Rain just fell to where it was two weeks ago. Unfortunate if you ask me. Remember that The Script was pretty successful back in their days on radio charts. That doesn't just need to end all of a sudden.
~ And OF COURSE (sarcastically), Heartless held its debut spot. Ridiculous. This needs to do successful. If Meghan Trainor - All About That Bass can do well, this can, considering these guys (switching the title of a Why Don’t We song) are way better.
~ Fun fact from Dylan, I believe: Shape of You and Perfect, Two Ed Sheeran songs, switched places (#39 and #30). The former looks as if it’s on its last legs, and the latter seems like it’ll be here for a while.
~ Despacito needs to LEAVE!!! We get it, everybody likes Latin music! But can you PLEASE just SHUT UP, Daddy Yankee?!?! Now let’s get some GOOD QUALITY MUSIC on Hits 1, PLEASE!!!
~ Another zoinks. There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back was at #9 two weeks ago, now it’s out of the Top 20. Out of the Top 25 too. It would be nice if this could hold out because I still love this. If it leaves soon though, don’t worry you diehard Shawn Mendes fans, he is releasing a new album soon. I wonder if people will like it as opposed to Illuminate though, which was quite hated by many critics on YouTube and iTunes.
~ 1-800-273-8255 jumped quite a bit. Pretty much to the point where it’s like the huge drop last week never happened. Could it go back into the Top 20, Maybe even crack the Top 10? I don’t think so unfortunately.
~ Save Me A Place and No Promises had quite tumbles this week. For the former, it NEEDS to regain because it debuted radio charts last week, but for the latter, I don’t really care which way it goes.
~ Havana and One More Light both had quite rocket boosts. For the former, I wouldn’t mind if it did good, but at the same time I wouldn’t care if it flopped. For the latter, however, this is kinda irrelevant for the countdown because of the fact Chester died 4 or 5 months ago. But I’ll allow it.
~ I’m not very surprised by the jump from ...Ready for It? considering the fact that the video was released on Thursday. I watched it, and it’s actually really good. I bet some other pop mainstream artists are jealous of the editing and just the video in general. Basically, the old Taylor is creating the new, but the new one kills the old Taylor.
~ Halloweekend Countdown? Scary things are supposed to happen. I know one scary thing that happened: Love So Soft is at #11. This is getting ridiculous. Just go down already and stop bothering the heck out of us.
~ Finally, we have come to our #1, THUNDER! ⚡️🌪⚡️🌩🌩⛈ Definitely happy by this! Stay up there as long as you want!

HitBound + YT15 (10/21/2017)
Sorry for the late delay. But better late then never! Here is the HitBound list this week:
Lauv - I Like Me Better
Harry Styles - Kiwi (DEBUT)
Dua Lipa - New Rules
Macklemore/Kesha - Good Old Days (DEBUT) (!!!)
X Ambassadors - Ahead of Myself
Liam Payne - Bedroom Floor (DEBUT)
Zayn/Sia - Dusk Till Dawn
Imagine Dragons - Whatever it Takes (DEBUT)
Post Malone/21 Savage - Rockstar
Niall Horan - Too Much To Ask
Bruno Mars - Chunky
The Shadowboxers - Hot **** (DEBUT)
Bebe Rexha/Florida Georgia Line - Meant to Be
Nick Jonas - Find You
~ We have quite a bit of a shake-up this week on HitBound. To start off, we lost both Something Different and Would You Mind. The former, the kids who can’t sing actually kind of impressed me on this but ultimately, I don’t really care. The latter, though? I do care about this. I was hoping it could debut on the countdown, but it just wasn’t meant to be (no Bebe Rexha reference), sadly.
~ Kicking off the entrants with Harry Styles - Kiwi. With this, we probably already know Two Ghosts is gonna flop. This definitely has a fun 80s rock vibe. I love the vocals and production on this too. I’ll talk more about this should it debut.
~ Skippin’ over Good Old Days, you ask? I’m saving best for last. With Strip That Down and Get Low really not into many, if not, then everyone’s likings, I don’t really think many were looking forward to Bedroom Floor. And to say best, it’s actually decent for the most part. The lyrics may be questionable, but that doesn’t mean it’s bad per se. The vocals are pretty good and the production is nice. The chorus is kinda awkward, but the song is still good.
~ I haven’t been able to hear Whatever it Takes yet.
~ Second to last, we have newcomers The Shadowboxers with Hot ****. The vocals are good on this. The production is good too. I don’t really have much to say on this.
~ Will talk about Good Old Days later.

Danielle Bradbery - Sway
French Montana/Swae Lee - Unforgettable
Noah Cyrus/XXXTENTACION - Again
Demi Lovato - Sorry Not Sorry
Cheat Codes & Fetty Wap/CVBZ - Feels Great
Sam Smith - Too Good At Goodbyes
Fifth Harmony - He Like That
Logic/Alessia Cara/Khalid - 1-800-273-8255
Tiësto/Stargate/Aloe Blacc - Carry You Home
Good! More trash on YT15! *cough* He Like That *cough* I won’t waste anymore time on you.
Feels Great may not be as good as No Promises, but it is a nice listen.
Finally, we have the return of an EDM artist, the return of the featured guy in Wake me Up by Avicii, AND an EDM newcomer. Those three artists are........ Tiësto, Stargate, and Aloe Blacc. This is a new song called Carry You Home. Now, this is not as good as All of Me, Waterfall (by P!NK and Sia for your information), or even Wake Me Up. It’s a tough call for Carry You Home and Wake Me Up. But nevertheless, it’s an amazing song. I’ll talk more about this should it debut Hits 1.

New Entrants/Blurbs (10/21/2017)
Hey my friends, this is Gelography the Master Sauce with the Entrant reviews and blurbs! Here are the new entrants to review this week.......
• Ed Sheeran - Perfect (#39)
• Fergie/Nicki Minaj - You Already Know (#35)
• Evaride - Heartless (#32)
Ed Sheeran - Perfect
Yeah, scratch the rule where no artist can have more than three songs on the countdown at once. Perfect debuts this week and none of this other songs *cough* Shape of You *cough* left. Let me start off by saying that this is very different from the other singles off of Divide. But that doesn’t necessarily mean it isn’t good. Ed Sheeran’s vocals are really getting better. The lyrical content is really good too. The production is great as well. We need more slow and beautiful ballads like this on the countdown, because it really brings more interest and love to this. I think the next single off of Divide should be New Man or Eraser. I hope this track has success here.
Rating: 10/10
Fergie/Nicki Minaj - You Already Know
Fergie is back again! This time, she brings us You Already Know featuring Nicki Minaj. This is a pretty solid track if you ask me. Fergie’s chorus is great and I like her verse. Nicki Minaj also does pretty good. Obviously not as good as in tracks like Back Together with Robin Thicke or Side to Side with Ariana Grande. Then Fergie comes back for the bridge or post-chorus. I don’t think the repetition of the words, “I said, watch me” are necessary. But it is still solid. And heck that final chorus is awesome. In case you didn’t know, this was released with the album Double Dutchness along with L.A. Love and Hungry. So I’m hoping this does great!

Evaride - Heartless
With the highest debut of the week is new band Evaride branching out with their debut single titled Heartless. Just from this amazing track, these guys can make some really good beats! The song is about how everybody has gone through dark times in their lives (proof is the 9/2 HitBound, I listened to it). I know I have. The production is amazing, and their vocals are awesome. Fun fact about Evaride: their drummer, Josh, once supported and produced for One Direction. I guess he made them get so popular, hmmm..... But overall, this is a really fun and addicting track that I can listen to all day. I’m hoping this has a lot of success because it deserves it.

She Was Blurb-ect Tonight
~ Starting with the exits, I was starting to despise Get Low, so it’s the perfect (no reference) time for this to leave. After weeks and weeks on the countdown, L.A. Devotee just died off and left. Fine with that, good riddance. And finally..... FETISH HAS OFFICIALLY LEFT! And here was my reaction:

Good riddance to you!
~ Wish I Knew You takes a mini tumble this week. I am kinda starting to get over this song, so that is okay by me. It’s still a good song, but I wouldn’t really mind if it leaves next week.
~ *sees #33* WHY THE HECK, HITS 1????? WHAT ARE YOU SAYING????? WHY ARE YOU UNDERRATING 1-800-273-8255????? REALLY BRUH????????
~ *sees #30* This isn’t necessarily better. We don’t need Shape of You in the Top 30 again. What I need is it to leave. I don’t understand how someone would still enjoy this, but I respect your opinion if you do. Like I said in the Perfect review, I want Perfect to have success and not just sit in the Bottom 15 for its whole tenure and not playing in the first hour of the countdown.
~ I have been noticing that Havana has only fell 3 spots every week. Funny if you ask me.
~ Just like for Perfect, I want Too Good At Goodbyes to have success. So why is it spending half its tenure at #26 and #25?
~ Thank god for the drop, Body Like A Back Road. That jump into the Top 20 last week was pretty darn scary. Now drop even MORE, you piece of GARBAGE!
~ Right above Body Like A Back Road, we have Why, jumping big on not its second, not third, but FOURTH week. Weird if you ask me. I’ve been growing into the song lately, so that is just something.
~ Spyder Harrison made a mistake with Rain as he said that it dropped 12 spots but it actually did the opposite — jumped 12 spots. This song is amazing to heaven, so I’m glad it’s gaining here.
~ It looks like it is the end of the road for There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back and Something Just Like This, the latter for real this time. As for the former, I hope it can hold out for a bit longer because I still love this.
~ Believer only had like one spin this whole week and only dropped one spot. It was either gonna leave for fall 30. #WhenHits1MakesIdiotChoices
~ How Long was of course destined to jump into the Top 20 this week. I’m happy it’s gaining because this is a really good song that deserves its success so far.
~ I do think What Lovers Do is a fun and catchy song. It is. I just feel like it isn’t really Top 10 material. I will allow it, but that is just how I feel about it.
~ At #5, we have Feel It Still, crushing Billboard and American Top 40 way past our expectations due to radio and digital sales, and it looks like it won’t slow down anytime soon. I would love if this were to hit #1, and if it does, it should be to block our #2 or even our #4, Sorry Not Sorry and Strip That Down respectively from the top.
~ Our #1 is the same from last week, so that is good.

HitBound + YT15 (10/14/2017)
Hi, my friends! Welcome back. I’m sorry this is late. I hate to disappoint, but for now on, I’m not gonna do HitBound and YT15. That will return by Winter Break or Christmas though. Maybe I’ll give a review of all the songs I missed when that comes. Depends though. Here is the HitBound list this week:
Why Don’t We - Something Different
Bruno Mars - Chunky (DEBUT) [!!!]
Evaride - Heartless
Niall Horan - Too Much To Ask
PRETTYMUCH - Would You Mind
Bebe Rexha - Meant to Be ft. Florida Georgia Line
Ed Sheeran - Perfect
Nick Jonas - Find You
Post Malone - Rockstar ft. 21 Average
Dua Lipa - New Rules
X Ambassadors - Ahead of Myself
Zayn - Dusk Till Dawn ft. Sia
Lauv - I Like Me Better
Fergie - You Already Know ft. Nicki Minaj
Our one entrant is Bruno Mars bringing his next single off of 24K Magic, and that is called Chunky. Most wanted this to be the next single, and I can see why. I really love the vocals and funk vibe. The production catches me start to end too. I’ll talk about this a little more if it debuts, which I definitely hope it does.
Hmmmmmm..... *checks DogStarRadio* Heartless has aired quite a bit so far..... WILL IT DEBUT?!?! FINALLY?!?!

Taylor Swift - Look What You Made Me Do

Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee - Overratedpacito ft. Justin Bieber
Gryffin - Nobody Compares To You ft. Katie Pearlman
Demi Lovato - Sorry Not Sorry
Why Don’t We - Invitation
French Montana - Unforgettable ft. Swae Lee
Noah Cyrus - Again ft. XXXTENTACTION
DJ Khaled - Wild Thoughts ft. Rihanna & Bryson Tiller
Grace VanderWaal - Escape My Mind
It’s like a rainbow. Red, no orange, no yellow, green, dark green, dark blue, turquoise, purple, pink.
Let’s get to reviewing!
Starting with Rudy Mancuso - Black & White ft. Poo Bear. Note that this is only decent, but I put it in dark blue because of THAT. I don’t think you know. It is Poo Bear. Yeah, I don’t think anyone finds that funny. I’ll review this in the future.
Please note that I have heard Nobody Compares To You and Escape My Mind, but I just forgot how they go.
Next up, we have Invitation by the kids called Why Don’t We. This is at least decent. At least it isn’t like the all-mediocre Help Me Help You, the god of cringe called These Girls, or the hellish nightmare called The Fall of Jake Paul. It seems as if Why Don’t We used to be going in a downward direction, they went up, and now they are just there.
