YE Post: Bottom 3 Songs of 2017

Hi there, how is your day? Because is Gelography and today I will be counting down my worst songs of the year. I feel like 2017 was one of the worst years we had. From Donald Trump becoming president to the biggest shooting in the U.S.A. to some god sake Spanish song dominating the charts with 16 weeks at #1 on Billboard Hot 100 to I'm running out of things to say. I'm not gonna be using single covers, I'm using some concert pictures and MP3s. Let's get into this, starting with #10.
3. Liam Payne - Strip that Down
Hahaha, that's funny, you all though this would be my worst song of the year. Well it isn't, things change a lot. First off the production is way beyond puke with the obnoxious Hey hey hey hey at the beginning of the song. Those vocals, like the production, is WAY MORE BEYOND vomit. Then finally, you have that dumb*** lyrical content everyone has SLAMMED lately.

And that thing you get before the Yeah yeah yeah yeah's in the chorus:

UH, STRIP THAT DOWN,
GIRL LOVE WHEN YOU HIT THE GROUND,

One thing is for SURE: this man has the worst rhymes you could even imagine. Pretty much to the point where they don't sound like rhymes. I can diss this song, y'know. Anytime. And that time will be RIGHT NOW.
*cracks knuckles* Let's do this, Liam Payne. Get ready.
I see your name is Liam Payne,
I see you made a trash song,
And you should be ready to burn in pain,
Then your life won't be catchin' along,
I see you tried to make an improvement,
It's called Bedroom Floor,
but I see no talent movement,
watch what happens when I SLAM open your bedroom's door,
(I will diss him more if you ask me in the comments but I don't wanna spend this entire post dissing this loser)

- Okay, okay, let's see what this loser has got.
2. Julia Michaels - Issues
I know, this was barely ever in red. But once people actually turned on it, I started to realize this song is EVEN MORE BEYOND S**T than #3 was. Julia Michaels shows no vocal talent on this at all. Not at all. And that obnoxious du-du beat is ridiculous. The production is BEYOND crap + putrid + garbage + awful + terrible level. I guess I can understand the meaning however because let's admit it, everyone's got issues. But the vocals and the production combined are 8465438758293847378482 levels beyond C+P+G+A+T level. I have a word for you: LEAVE.

Dishonorable Mentions
- Post Malone/Quavo - Congratulations
Notes: lol xD
- Maroon 5/Kendrick Lamar - Don't Wanna Know
Notes: "Maroon 5 isn't a band" has for so long been a meme, and now "Maroon 5 isn't real" is an actual possibility.
- Lil Pump - Gucci Gang
Notes: *blank*
- Lil Uzi Vert - XO TOUR Lilf3
Notes: 0mg wut is this idk wut dis is this dood needs 2 take some music lessns lel
- Sam Hunt - Body Like A Back Road
Notes: You thought this'd be on the list? Well no.

YOU IDIOT
You actually thought Body Like A Back Road was in Dishonorable Mentions? You are wrong.

I will explain this PIECE OF UTTER DOGS**T IN A DISS TRACK
1. Sam Hunt - Body Like A Back Road
You call yourself Sam Hunt,
Why is Sam Smith in front?
I don't know why he is,
but you need to listen to this,
From House Party to Body Like A Back Road,
your talent level has changed a whole load,
House Party was great,
but Body Like A Back Road made me lose my fate,
I'm about to knock this kid to another state,
because that kid still has everything he got on his plate,
This utter crap has bad lyrical content,
So I decided to instead of talk about it, BURN IT!
He got the bad sound,
We have better ones in this generation and around,
He got the bad voice,
Making a terrible song was his choice,
This has no beat,
so when I listen to this I don't dance in my seat,
This is the definition of bad,
so bad it gets me mad
FINISH!

So that is my rap against Body Like A Back Road. What its lyrical content has to offer made this the official...
WORST SONG OF 2017!
I hope you enjoyed the post (and the joke)! I would like to announce this'll be my last post of the year (unless I get the Weekend Countdown post out). So I will see you all in 2018!

Blurbs (2017)

Frosty The Blurbman
- About half of these songs I have never talked about. Just goes to show that 6 months really isn't much time, but it feels like you can do a lot in that time (in which you actually can).

- THIS IS MY JAM! DEATH OF A BACHELOR! WOAH, OH! (REALLY! I'm that cringy)

- About half of these songs debuted back in 2016 before October. Maybe they didn't make the cut for the Year End for last year. I'm not saying it's bad or anything, it just made the list look more neutral and expected. *cough* the #1 I'll talk about later *cough*

- And there you have Praying making the cut for the list. I didn't really know what to expect, to be honest, but I can see why it would've made it. I'm actually surprised, but like I said, I didn't know what to think.

- Hmm, Cold made the list, even without Future. Super interesting. Keep in mind Don't Wanna Know made it higher, and not in a very good way. I still enjoy Cold, but not as much. It's fun, though.

- I'm Ready was ranked higher than Weak on its year-end chart. At least the better song was ranked higher. but it wasn't much better -- they're both s**t. AJR, please leave the music industry, please, I'll appreciate it.

- Ah yes, the album titled song for 24K Magic! PUT YOUR PINKY FINGER TO THE MOON! Like Cold and Don't Wanna Know, keep in mind that That's What I Like was ranked higher. God have mercy on us all.

- Little surprised What About Us made it. I'll take it though. This one's good. It's highly decreasing on the Countdown, in which I think I remember it dropping 12 spots, #9 to #21.

- I'm not talking about this s**t for you all.

- Unlike What About Us, I'm not surprised Thunder made the list. I don't think you were either. Either way, it's no surprise to see it. I'm proud of these guys for making two huge hits this year. So props to them for making it.

- Feels great (no Cheat Codes reference) to see Heavy again. It's nice to see some hits that I loved but completely forgot about on here. And no, I don't love this just because of Sasha. Actually, yes I do. There we go.

- Sorry Not Sorry and Galway Girl were ranked higher than I thought they would be. I went from underestimating the success these songs would get to overestimating it. Eecks dee.

- This is the second year where Heathens is on the Year-End chart. Interesting. Cool stuff, though!

- *sees #24 and #21* I'M ABOUT TO CRAP MY PANTS RIGHT NOW!

- I CAN MAKE YOUR HANDS CLAP! It's my favorite song right now! In the Top 20! Thank you all, Hits 1!

- Yes, that is definitely not an error. I did warm up on Closer. I think it was because, on Christmas, I was remixing some Chainsmokers music including this one, and it made the song a lot better.

- *sees #1* WOW, HITS 1! Thank you SO MUCH for being such a s**tbag to me! You are amazing!!!

Now, I'm gonna do a Top 45 Review. Just like the Top 20 Reviews, except the entire countdown ranked down. Here we go!

Net Neutrality is Going

If you watched the livestream, you’d know Net Neutrality is going to be leaving us. I don’t know about you, but this is NOT A GOOD SIGN. Here’s how this’ll change us forever:
- Internet will cost more
- Bill costs will increase
- Social media will basically ‘die’
Not my fridge-ing fault that it’s going.

Short announcement again. Thank you.
- Gelography, aka the dude who is super mad that Net Neutrality is going

Where Am I Bringing This Blog?

Hey guys.

Yes, I am back. Well, not for long. Honestly, life has just been a mess right now. From projects to school to football to parades to Christmas events, my life has been a mess. So that is why I haven’t made a post in longer than a week.

I honestly do not know what I’ll do with this blog now. I might change the topic or something, but I’ve been missing out on making a lot of stuff. I haven’t even started last week nor this week’s countdown. But yeah. The whole point is, I have a life outside of blogging and I can’t blog at school.

Thank you, I just wanted to make a short announcement. I’m more than sorry that this blog is officially “dead.” Goodbye.

Announcement

Okay, so it took me a while but I've finally come up with a decision for my blog. I will be keeping this blog, but it will be for countr...
