Liam Pain (1) - HitBound

Alright guys, Master Sauce is back. Time to do those dabs on Miles (who will criticize me on how my opinion changes on songs, he’s done it on Thumbs and Closer already)
HitBound List
The Script - Rain
Taylor Swift - ...Ready for It?
Fergie/Nicki Minaj - You Already Know
ZAYN/Sia - Dusk Till Dawn
Why Don’t We - Something Different
Camila Cabello - Havana (DEBUT) [yay]
PRETTYMUCH - Would You Mind
Evaride - Heartless
Post Malone & 21 Savage - Rockstar (DEBUT)
Bebe Rexha/Florida Georgia Line - Meant to Be (DEBUT)
Dua Lipa - New Rules
Niall Horan - Too Much To Ask
Ed Sheeran - Perfect
Lauv - I Like Me Better

  • Kicking off the list, we have Rockstar by... POST MALONE... featuring... 21 SAVAGE?!?! I bet everyone at Hits 1 was drunk when they typed this. SOMETHING is obviously wrong. Alright, time to rant. Post Malone and 21 Savage both are crap as artists. Post Malone sucks in this song. He legit SUCKS!!!! Then the obnoxious 21 Savage comes in, and he is even worse in this one than songs like Bank Account. I’ll stop there even though I could go on and on for hours. To put it easy, this is legit trash to be tooken out.
  • Next, we have returning artist Camila Cabello with Havana. Young Thug was cut out, which I’m okay with. If he was still there (like Rockstar and Strip That Down shouldn’t be gaining steam), then this would have been in green, not dark blue. I like the production, and her vocals are solid on this track. I don’t have enough to make this better than Crying in the Club, but one thing is for SURE: this is better than OMG by a longshot.
  • Finally, we have the best debut of the week, from Bebe Rexha and Florida Georgia Line, with a song titled Meant To Be. Tbh, this is meant to be on the Countdown (ba dum tsss). Bebe Rexha has fantastic vocals and Florida Georgia Line’s part is really good. If you haven’t heard it yet, you’re wasting your time. Go listen to it now.
  • Unfortunately, Let Me Go had to departure. But it played 12 times this week (more than Rain, which isn’t even picking up any steam), so it’s not gone for good. It will most likely re-enter next week or so.
Rankdown
1. TIE: Bebe Rexha/F.G.L. - Meant to Be
1. TIE: Evaride - Heartless
3. Taylor Swift - ...Ready for It?
4. Camila Cabello - Havana
5. The Script - Rain
6. PRETTYMUCH - Would You Mind
7. Dua Lipa - New Rules
8. Lauv - I Like Me Better
9. Ed Sheeran - Perfect
10. Why Don’t We - Something Different
11. ZAYN/Sia - Dusk Till Dawn
12. Niall Horan - Too Much To Ask
13. Fergie/Nicki Minaj - You Already Know
14. Post Malone & 21 Savage - Rockstar

Liam Pain (1) - Blurbs/T20R/Extras

Alright guys. You are all probs wondering what kind of horrific countdown this is. To the blurbs....

  • Going from bottom to the top (not an AATB reference), starting with the exits. Honest and Champion were both destined to leave, due to lack of AirPlay. Heavy was around for a while, and I’m glad it got the success it deserved. Many thought it was a space filler, but I think this was a fantastic suicide note in my book. Farewell, Heavy. You will be missed and seen in my Year End Top 20.*
*yes, I will do Year End Top 20s, Not Top 45s.
  • So, as Hoodie debuts AT40, it falls into the Bottom 5 here? Heh. BIG difference (sarcastically).
  • Spyder Harrison apparently made ANOTHER mistake, when he said No Promises, I believe, had the Biggest DROOOPPPPPP!! of the week, when it was actually Give Love dropping -16.
  • Yes guys, I did grow into One More Light. You saw it correctly, Sasha.
  • So guys, I just noticed something about last week’s countdown post: Versace on the Floor’s color code was goofed. I clicked green when I thought it was turquoise. I hope you all can forgive me.
  • *sees #28* Good news, now we don’t need to worry about this at #1.
  • I’ll review Love So Soft right here. It sucks. Can she just stick to the pop and dance thing in songs like Piece By Piece and not the generic trap rock kind of thingy? Album name is, “Meaning of Life” eh? This doesn’t seem like life. Even Move You isn’t all that good either. It has some soul in it though, as the positive note. So yeah: 2.5/10.
  • Sooooooo.... Sweat had the Biggest Jump of the Week on its third week and not its second, when it jumped to #34? That’s weird. Consider what Feel It Still did on 9/16.
  • Speakin’ of Feel It Still, with just a couple listens, it became my favorite song on the countdown.
  • With What About Us and Thunder making the Top 10 for the first time and Save Me A Place back in there, there are quite some changes there.
  • Did I expect the #1 song? Yes. But am I happy with it? NO! Here is my reaction: http://i0.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/facebook/001/185/750/a53.jpg

Liam Pain (1) - New Entrants

Hey guys! Here are the songs we will be recapping together:

  • Sabrina Carpenter - Why (#38)
  • Selena Gomez - Fetish (#30)
  • Logic/Alessia Cara/Khalid - 1-800-273-8255 (#25)
Let’s dive right in!
Why
I understand and fully anticipate that Sabrina is trying to become big, but this just isn’t all that good. Thumbs was good for a while, but like any song, I had to start losing interest in it. Why is a different story, however. The chorus vocals are pretty annoying. It’s also quite repetitive. I guess the verses and post-verses are okay. So conclusion: I don’t hate this song, I just don’t like it and that’s it. Maybe I’m just exaggerating. This can grow on me.
Fetish
Selena Gomez has proved she sucks as a solo artist. I mean, sure, We Don’t Talk Anymore and It Ain’t Me were good. But then, we got Bad Liar, which I’m pretty sure everybody in the blogging community didn’t get in their likings. And this is just bad. Gucci Mane was cut out, which I’m fine with. He does no good to the song AT ALL. I think that line, “You’ve got a fetish for my love, I push you out and you come right back” is just stupid. (Selena Gomez fans, remember, this is my opinion) I also don’t like her vocals at all. And the production is just weird. Overall, I really hope this doesn’t become a big hit.
1-800-273-8255
So this is Logic and Khalid’s first song on Hits 1. Just straight from that title, I was like: Is this song just gonna be a phone ringing the whole time? Then I actually listened to it, and wow, I am IN LOVE WITH THIS! Khalid’s, Alessia Cara’s, and Logic’s vocals are all awesome. I really like the production too. I love the lyrical content behind the song, which is: never give up, and keep trying until you get it right. Fun fact: this is actually the Suicide Hotline, 1-800-273-8255. I really hope this does well.

Time to rate these out of 20 now.
Why: 7/20 (Mediocre)
Fetish: 3/20 (Awful)
1-800-273-8255: 20/20 (Fantastic)

Blurbs will come out at night.

Niall Horan (3) - HitBound

Here is the HitBound list for this week, everyone! Whoops, forgot my intro. Let’s just say: Hello, Master Sauce is back. Anyway, HERE is the list:

  • Evaride - Heartless
  • ZAYN/Sia - Dusk Till Dawn
  • Taylor Swift - ...Ready for It?
  • Sabrina Carpenter - Why
  • Fergie/Nicki Minaj - You Already Know (DEBUT)
  • Niall Horan - Too Much To Ask (DEBUT)
  • Selena Gomez - Fetish
  • Why Don’t We - Something Different
  • The Script - Rain
  • Lauv - I Like Me Better (DEBUT)
  • Dua Lipa - New Rules
  • Ed Sheeran - Perfect
  • PRETTYMUCH - Would You Mind
  • Hailee Steinfeld & Alesso/Florida Georgia Line/watt - Let Me Go
- I’d say I’m a fan of Fergie. I never really listened to Hits 1 in 2014/2015, let alone SiriusXM channels, so no, I’ve never heard L.A. Love. Even though I loved her as an artist, M.I.L.F.$ was just downright awful. She returns with Nicki Minaj on You Already Know. I kinda like this. Neither of their vocals are the best. The production is what doesn’t make this green. So it’s in pink right now.

- Newcomer Lauv drops off his first song here, I Like Me Better. All I can really say is this is legendary. More when this debuts. (I might review this next week)

- Finally, we have One Direction member Niall Horan returning yet again with Too Much To Ask. Let’s face it: this falls right in between the great Slow Hands and the boring This Town. I’ll explain this when it debuts, in which it most likely will because it’s Niall and Hits 1 loves every piece of One Direction they can get their hands on.

- I heard New Rules now. I really like Dua’s voice. I think she shows it well in this. The production in this is also good. I personally think the chorus I said a little repetitive, but that is my only criticism. Other than that, I really like this.

- Last week, I accidentally forgot to review Heartless. Along with this, I’ll review Let Me Go too. Starting with Heartless, just wow. That chorus is the ultra powerhouse. The song itself is about how we all go through dark times in our lives, which I really appreciate. Now, time to review Let Me Go. Let’s just say this is WAYYYYYY better than Starving. I love the production, and I can thank Alesso. Hailee and F.G.L.’s vocals really blend together nicely. I would love to see this have success.

RANKDOWN
1. TIE: Evaride - Heartless
1. TIE: Hailee Steinfeld & Alesso/Florida Georgia Line/watt - Let Me Go
3. Taylor Swift - ...Ready for It?
4. Lauv - I Like Me Better
5. PRETTYMUCH - Would You Mind
6. The Script - Rain
7. Dua Lipa - New Rules
8. Ed Sheeran - Perfect
9. ZAYN/Sia - Dusk Till Dawn
10. Why Don’t We - Something Different
11. TIE: Fergie/Nicki Minaj - You Already Know
11. TIE: Niall Horan - Too Much To Ask
13. Sabrina Carpenter - Why
14. Selena Gomez - Fetish

Niall Horan (3) - Blurbs

Heyo guys! I’m back with another post. I wanted to get this one out earlier. So just a heads up on that.

  • As far as the exits go, good freaking riddance to Issues. It really wasn’t that good to begin with IMO. Weak left earlier than I thought it would, but at the same time, it lasted quite a long time. At least it’s gone, though. Feels really didn’t deserve to leave. Farewell, you’ll definitely be missed. Finally, we have Closer. This one was awesome when it was fresh and new, but at some point I had to start losing interest in it. I might miss this a little. But farewell to you too.
  • Besides from #41, we have a whole new Bottom 5 (woo-hoo!). I’m not too thrilled about the fact that Champion and Honest may leave us soon. Oh well. They were good while they lasted. Good Times is just jiggling around my brain at the moment. I am losing interest in Most Girls, so I won’t be too heartbroken if it were to leave soon.
  • Yes, everyone. A new purple song. No matter how much I want to, I just can’t hate Hoodie. That line, “If you want it back, if you want it, want it, back, I’m here waiting” just gets stuck in my head for a long time. So conclusion? I’m not very thrilled about it dropping to #35. It was fun while it was here, though.
  • Looks like Sweat didn’t have a very successful jump this week. I heard this multiple times, so I’m kinda surprised. Hopefully it can happen next week. Only one can hope though.
  • FAIL ALERT: Spyder Harrison forgot to mention Back To You when he mentioned the fourth set of five. Careful, there.
  • Despacito is officially bad. Get out, now.
  • *looks at #19* Good! Now we don’t need to worry about Body Like A Back Road at #1.
  • So, I’ve come around to Feel It Still. I can review it accurately. It has a catchy beat. Her vocals are awesome. The lyrics kinda catch me up, too.
  • I am very thrilled, however, with Praying in the Top 5, and even better, REPLACING Strip That Down!!! WOOT WOOT! Now get this crappy song outta here! Strip That Down, that is. Might as well add it to my Bottom 10 of the Year!
  • That’s all the Blurbs for this week. Here is the Top 20 Review:
0 - Crap
20. Liam Payne - Strip That Down
19. Sam Hunt - Body Like A Back Road
1 - Bad
18. Justin Bieber - Despacito

10. Ed Sheeran - Galway Girl

BONUS: 6 - Best Song on the Countdown
1. Kesha - Praying

#1 Recommendation for Hits 1: Imagine Dragons - Walking the Wire
Most Missed Song: RUNAGROUND - Chase You Down
Throwback Pick: Maroon 5 - This Love

Question of the Day: Every week, I will ask you all a question you can’t answer until the HitBound post comes out. Here is the question: Look What You Made Me Do or ...Ready for It?
My answer: I pick ...Ready for It?.

Top 5 Songs on the Countdown
1. TIE: Kesha - Praying
1. TIE: Hey Violet - Hoodie

Niall Horan (3) - New Entrants

Hey guys, master is back. Here are the entrants for this week that I’ll recap:

  • Kelly Clarkson - Love So Soft (#32)
  • Zedd/Liam Payne - Get Low (#29)
  • The Revivalists - Wish I Knew You (#28)
  • Sam Smith - Too Good at Goodbyes (#23)
They are all pretty close, being less than 10 spots away from each other.
Love So Soft
Kelly Clarkson returns with Love So Soft. I really don’t have much of an opinion on this song, to be honest. Like I said in the HitBound review on 9/9, this reminds me of Hey Hey Hallelujah. I’ll take some repeated listens and come back to tell you all what I think.
Get Low
Zedd debuts with his and 1D member Liam Payne’s second song on the countdown right now, Get Low. I definitely find this better than both of their songs on the countdown currently *cough* Strip That Down *cough*. I like the production, and I can thank Zedd. Liam Payne’s vocals are okay, I guess. I really don’t give a f**k about the lyrical content. This is in green at the moment, but could possibly turn pink, or even blue.
Wish I Knew You
Being the best debut of the week, we have The Revivalists with Wish I Knew You. This was released in 2015, so it’s strange it would debut just now. I really like the singer’s vocals. The production is really cool, too. The lyrics are also really nice, which are about wishing that you knew someone when you and them were young. Overall, this is a fun and catchy song, and I hope this has success.
Too Good at Goodbyes
It’s been a while since Sam Smith was last hit the stage. Now, he returns with Too Good at Goodbyes. That lyric, “I’m never gonna let you close to me, even if you mean the most to me” just got stuck in my head. This isn’t as good as Stay With Me or Like I Can, but this is definitely better than the decent I’m Not The Only One and Latch. I don’t love this as much as I used to, but it’s still really good. I hope this does well.

And there ya have it! Now, I’ll rate these out of 20.
Love So Soft: N/A (Dark Green)
Wish I Knew You: 19/20 (Dark Blue)
Get Low: 13/20 (Green/Pink)
Too Good at Goodbyes: 15/20 (Green)

Blurbs and HitBound will come tomorrow. Be patient, guys. Thanks for the notice.

Niall Horan (3)

Finally after weeks of our #1 changing, we have a song holding at #1. I think this was a boring week. But three things. Firstly, DO NOT believe in Planet X (Nibiru). Those people are just fools who “think” they know everything. Secondly, on Wednesday when my family went to Modesto, California, I believe, I saw some broken cars on the road causing ultra traffic. One looked like a Toyota. My hearts and prayers go out to them. Thirdly, I hope everyone stays safe from the hurricanes on the east coast (I’m looking at u Montavis). Here are the songs leaving this week:

Anyone Have An iOS Device? Get iOS 11!

Heyo, master is back. Big news for iOS today. Last night I believe, iOS 11 was released. It was made to make iPad more powerful. The update uses 1.idk gigabytes. Firstly, on the letters, you can swipe down to access numbers/symbols. For example, swipe down and release on the letter G to get an asterisk (*). So that’s cool. The bar at the bottom of the home screen is also a lot cooler. App Store has also gotten some major changes. I am actually blogging on iPad, but I might (not saying I will) get a laptop by, let’s say, Christmas. Thanks for viewing and have a good rest of the week!

Oh, and finally, Kelly Clarkson - Love So Soft aired a lot this week, it might debut!

  • PRETTYMUCH - Would You Mind
  • Sam Smith - Too Good At Goodbyes
  • Sabrina Carpenter - Why
  • Zayn featuring Sia - Dusk Till Dawn (Not an error)

  • Zedd featuring Liam Payne - Get Low
- Ed Sheeran returns yet again with his new song, Perfect. I don't think this would be the best choice for his next single (Eraser would be better), but I like this for what it is.

- After Blow Your Mind (Mwah) failed to debut, Dua Lipa made a new song called New Rules. I haven't heard this yet, so I'll listen to it and come back to you guys and tell you my opinion.

- The Revivalists - Wish I Knew You left HitBound AGAIN. If it re-enters next week.....

Rerank of HitBound
This will be HitBound according to my opinion. #1 is my favorite on HitBound, and #15/14/13 (can be either) is my least favorite.

Niall Horan (2) - Blurbs/Extra

Hey guys! Can't wait for this week! Hoping you enjoy! :)

- Seeing our exits, Wild Thoughts didn't deserve to go right there. But knowing Hits 1 tries to be family-friendly, hip hop/rap is doomed. You're probably asking, though: Why is Strip That Down doing good though? It's because of the fact that Liam Payne was part of One Direction and his status of it. By the seems of what the rest of the year looks like, Wild Thoughts will probably appear in my Top 45 of the Year. Goodbye, you will be missed.

- Of course Feel It Still is gonna blast into the Top 20 on its second week. I've been gaining interest throughout time, mainly because it played all week. Watch this hit #1, like it did on the Alt-18 on Alt Nation (channel 46, I think).

- *looks at #4* Reaction, Chuckle Brothers? Third week on the countdown, and Galway Girl already made the Top 5. Hey I'm not complaining! Sorry Not Sorry also made it, which is still good.

- So, after Slow Hands played, Spyder Harrison said There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back was #1 this week. Big fail right there. x_x

- One More Light tends that it has fell down to #24. I am perfectly okay with this, but I wouldn't mind if it were to jump back into the Top 10.

- Why is it always that the last song from the album flops? This is Honest, I am talking about.

- Notice how #28-#25 are all debuts from last week. Just goes to show how crazy 6DTHNOB Weeks can be.

- So, Save Me A Place made it into the Top 10. I've grown into this a little more, so I'm glad it is high up here.

- Praying is at #11. This is getting pretty close to the Top 10. I still love this, though.

Sorry for the lack of Blurbs. There really wasn't too much for me to talk about.
