So Charlie Puth hosted the countdown. My brother said he would probably be singing Attention off camera. To the countdown. There is nothing wrong with our #1. But the rest is like a scrambled bag. New Entrants
- Both entrants are great songs. People on the What About Us music video are saying that P!nk - What About Us is about politics and Donald Trump, which is so not true. While this isn't as good as songs like Just Like Fire, Setting the World on Fire, and Just Give Me A Reason, this is definitely a good keeper. If you are reading this and you think the song is about Trump, then go away. I believe this song says that sometimes, nobody will be able to take care of you and you will have to do things yourself, which is a very sweet meaning. I can see why this can be boring, but I'm definitely looking forward to P!nk's new album, Beautiful Tarama. I hope this has success.
- Next up, we have Hey Violet returning (hooray...). When I heard Hoodie was released, I got scared because Guys My Age and Break My Heart were both garbage. Then I felt like I should listen to it, so I listened to it, and I was actually impressed. I am pretty sure a lot of us didn't think it would debut so soon. I think people will like this better because the vocals aren't as painful as the proceeders. Brand New Moves from 2016 was only decent, but I find Hoodie as their best. Hopefully, this has success.
What About Blurbs
Yes, I did lose even more interest in Body Like A Back Road. This just doesn't appeal to me. Why didn't a song like House Party blow up instead of this pile of crap?
And we have One More Light in the Top 10. And Most Girls HAD to drop out of the Top 20. Why is this? Most Girls is the better and yet it dropped about 16 spots. Then One More Light goes in the Top 10. Good job, Hits 1. Good job. *sarcasm alert*
Words cannot describe how annoying the jump we got from Strip That Down is. Liam Payne is a very good man, but when he made his debut single and it debuted and mainstream radio, I heard it and it was a mansion of crap. Hopefully Get Low debuts soon.
And when Strip That Down jumps in the Top 5, Sign of The Times left. Hits 1 needs to learn that they can't overrate a song just because it is more radio-friendly than another song. Just pull in Two Ghosts please.*
And Wild Thoughts has to drop out of the Top 25.... why?!
HITBOUND BREAKDOWN
This will make up for all the HitBound I have been skipping over lately.
We have three debuts:
• Selena Gomez - Fetish
• Portugal. The Man - Feel It Still
• Sabrina Carpenter - Why
One song left HitBound:
• Bebe Rexha - The Way I Are (Dance With Somebody)
Thank you for your service, viewer.
Top 5:
1. Kesha - Praying
2. Louis Tomlinson/Bebe Rexha/Digital Farm Animals - Back to You
3. DJ Khaled/Rihanna/Bryson Tiller - Wild Thoughts
4. Linkin Park/Kiiara - Heavy
5. The Chainsmokers - Honest
Bottom 5:
1. Childish Gambino - Redbone
2. Julia Michaels - Uh Huh
3. Liam Payne - Strip That Down
4. Hailee Steinfeld/Grey/Zedd - Starving
5. Sam Hunt - Body Like A Back Road
*yes, I did hear Two Ghosts now.
