Announcement
Okay, so it took me a while but I've finally come up with a decision for my blog. I will be keeping this blog, but it will be for countryballs, mapping, and vexillology. Also, just today is the day I have hit the 1 year mark; I have been quote-on-quote blogging for a year now. This means a lot to me and I'd like to say thank you for how far this has gotten. Anyway, I'll see you later when I rate the 10 worst US state flags. Bye!

So this blog might be a post-when-I-feel-like-it blog. I'll turn this into a redirect post with a link to a new blog. I feel so sorry but I just have to do this. Thank you to everyone who helped make my blog as popular as it is now.

I'm Leaving
So you all know that these posts are taking so much to get out and in control of reading, homework, and school right now, it's like impossible to get one out. So I made a final decision about this blog and I'm very sorry for all of you, but I have to leave. With not making my AR goal, I just have to leave because it looks right to be able to reach it this final trimester. I will miss you all (no Louis Tomlinson reference intended). Wait for another post for further information. But goodbye for now.

Charlie Puth (1)
Hey guys! Hope you guys had a good MLK Jr. Day. Sorry I couldn't get these previous posts out. I've been very busy with my homework and reading (darn it didn't make my AR goal ._.) and I've been trying to get posts out but just couldn't. Also, I won #1 on my Science Fair Project, so now I'm against San Joaquin County. And if I win THAT, I think I'll verse California, which sounds pretty darn exciting. There is a permanent color code change unless I come up with something new again.
Orange - Worst
Maroon/Burgundy - Bottom 5
Red - Bad
Turquoise - Old But I Still Like/Love It
Yellow - Old (it goes yellow then it's red on here)
Pink - Getting Old
Blue - Decent
Green - Great
Dark Blue - Amazing
Purple - Best
No exits this week, so let's get to the post.
Why Don't You Just Blurb Me In The Middle
~ Starting with our exits, there is nothing to review here, so we're good.
~ Don't blame me that Camila Cabello - Havana is in yellow. Blame my friends, they keep singing it but replacing "Havana" with some stupid word that rhymes like savanna or banana. It actually can get pretty damn annoying at some points of the day. During work, they just freely blurt out "BANANA, OOH NA NA!" and it's just annoying at all costs. So if this could leave and stop playing on a radio, this would affect me too. Actually, it probably wouldn't, considering my classmates just don't care about the popularity and they would just keep going BANANA OOH NA NA.
~ Yes guys, Kesha - Praying is still in dark blue. But if you are already sick of this, I swear, I'll kill you, you probably have no heart because this is important for Kesha and you should still give at least some respect for how she made it all the way through the madness she went through. I know, it isn't August but I still care for her and I supported her through her lawsuit all the way.
~ So we have in the Top 20, thirteen dark blue, three burgundy/maroon, one orange, one yellow, and one pink. Does that kind of seem okay?
~ Not too surprised about the jump from Zedd ft. Maren Morris & Grey - The Middle. It has been picking up steam lately and it wouldn't be all that impressive if this were to be a hit.
~ Pretty damn happy about Kelly Clarkson - Love So Soft's drop. Now I can chill without having to die in the car for the sakes of life. I better be careful though, the song is still on the countdown. Sometimes when I hear it, I might just plug in some earbuds and play some Marshmello or Halsey.
~ Sorry guys, there aren't many blurbs. But I'm rushing to get this post out.

New Entrants
New Entrants
- I will review the other songs that I missed in another post, but for now, I'll review 1/6/18 and 1/13/18.
- First up, we have what looks like the next single off of reputation, titled End Game. This features Ed Sheeran, whose verse is pretty good, and Future, who doesn't actually suck. He doesn't do very good either though. However, I think Taylor Swift really handles the final verse and the chorus. I think this is really good for the countdown, and I'm happy that Taylor chose this as the next single off reputation. Here's to hopin' this does well.
- For the other debut last week, we have a new song off of M A N I A by Fall Out Boy. Enter Hold Me Tight Or Don't. I find the instrumentals to be pretty interesting and the vocals are great. This is WAY BETTER than that s****y title called Young & Menace. Not quite as good as Champion though. I am liking this right now and I'm happy this is charting now.
- Starting for this week's entrants, we have more Bruno Mars and he has Finesse. But guess what? He decided to bring Cardi B. along for the fun! Now, Cardi doesn't do as good as I think she would *cough* G-Eazy ft. A$AP Rocky & Cardi B. - No Limit *cough* but Bruno Mars does great when he does his segment. Really good and hoping this succeeds.
Also, I am adding a new rule: nobody can recommend the Finesse original. - Here comes the big debut. If you have been grounded for weeks or disconnected from your life, you would've known that Justin Timberlake made his return two Fridays ago. Enter Filthy. Now, this isn't as good as Can't Stop the Feeling!, Suit & Tie, etc., but I actually still really like the song, hence why it's in dark blue. This is the lead single off of Justin's return album, Man of the Woods. I don't like the wobbly production that much, but the vocals are good, especially in the chorus. I started liking the production which is why I put it in dark blue. I had a tough time choosing through green or dark blue, though. I just chose the latter. So great song and I'd like this to have some success.
- Finally, we have G-Eazy making a return with his new song off of The Beautiful & Damned titled Him & I. This is one of my favorite songs off of it besides for No Limit. Halsey, G-Eazy's girlfriend, was featured in this song, and she handles the chorus nicely. G-Eazy does good in the verses, too. So great song and this should have success.
I Don't Wanna Be Your End Blurb
- Starting with the exits, Glorious and No Promises were expected to leave soon. But they both were awesome songs at first and I'm glad they had their long tenures. But Castle on the Hill is the one I really want to talk about. It had a long tenure, three weeks at #1, and all but it lasted ridiculously great tenure and even though I still hate this, I applaud this for it. This was
DedEd Sheeran's year and he got a lot of success, so I applaud him for that. Also, Dylan, Castle on the Hill did not last a year. It left the countdown I think a week after it actually debuted then it re-entered a few weeks later so it would still have a few more weeks to go. - Stay should be gone by now. This is getting freakin' ridiculous. And why did it have to be #2 on the Year-End chart? Because it spent all those weeks in the Top 10 to the point where it was in the Top 3.
- What did the Hits 1 voters have in themselves to make Shape of You last a god freakin' year? Some DNA (no BTS or Kendrick Lamar references there) that makes them be crazy enough to the fact where they need to give Ded Sheeran another song that lasts a year. I do kind of congratulate him though because I don't think there was another artist with two songs that lasted a year; are there? Tell me in the comments and I'll edit the post if so.
- Little surprised that after my long hiatus, Slow Hands is still on this countdown. I know it won't be on for too much longer though. I still love this song so hopefully, it can hold out a little longer.
- Something that should leave is Strip that Down though. This is getting so ridiculous now. The Hits 1 voters obviously have something in them that makes them WANT Strip that Down to debut Hit-Bound, graduate onto the Countdown, hit #1 for two weeks, and still have it on the countdown. It's got four more months to go and if it actually lasts that (probably won't though), I'll be very disappointed in Hits 1 and I'll have Alt Nation on for a week or two (yes I listen to that now but I do still listen to Hits 1).
- With ...Ready for It?, Praying, Dusk till Dawn, and Galway Girl taking huge drops, it looks like they're on their final legs. They all got what they deserved though and I applaud all of the songs' artists for making these songs that got their success.
- On the other side though, Lonely Girl finally made a reasonable jump into the Top 30. I never actually talked about this song but like I said, I'll review the songs I missed in another post. I'll just say that it's a pretty good song. You'll read more in that post.
- Feel it Still is actually on the countdown still? Am I dreaming? I think I am.
- Ahead of Myself had to get knocked out of the Top 20. I partially blame Him & I for doing so even though I like the song. I mostly blame Hold Me Tight Or Don't though. And congrats on getting Biggest Jump of the Week, Hold Me Tight Or Don't! You can also blame I Like Me Better so yeah.
- Not too happy about What Lovers Do and Rockstar getting nudged out of the Top 10. At least their replacement songs are good too though.
- Wow, New Rules actually got this high? I wasn't even paying attention to this!
- We have Good Old Days entering the Top 10. This is great and I want this to get even higher, possibly even #1 although it probably won't happen.
- Really, does Love So Soft HAVE to be in the Top 10? At least Wolves is in there.
- We have Meant to Be entering the Top 10 this week too. Pretty happy about this. I haven't seen a Florida Georgia Line get this high. But one song from them that got higher was...
- ...Let Me Go! Really proud of Hailee Steinfeld and Alesso making themselves another hit and I'll guarantee that this will make the Year-End list this year if it didn't last year.
- I'm not really sure if I think Perfect at #1 is a fine way to come back from my hiatus. I think Thunder at #1 again would've been better. It's okay for now though. And FOR NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YE Post: Bottom 3 Songs of 2017
Hi there, how is your day? Because is Gelography and today I will be counting down my worst songs of the year. I feel like 2017 was one of the worst years we had. From Donald Trump becoming president to the biggest shooting in the U.S.A. to some god sake Spanish song dominating the charts with 16 weeks at #1 on Billboard Hot 100 to I'm running out of things to say. I'm not gonna be using single covers, I'm using some concert pictures and MP3s. Let's get into this, starting with #10.
3. Liam Payne - Strip that Down
Hahaha, that's funny, you all though this would be my worst song of the year. Well it isn't, things change a lot. First off the production is way beyond puke with the obnoxious Hey hey hey hey at the beginning of the song. Those vocals, like the production, is WAY MORE BEYOND vomit. Then finally, you have that dumb*** lyrical content everyone has SLAMMED lately.
And that thing you get before the Yeah yeah yeah yeah's in the chorus:
UH, STRIP THAT DOWN,
GIRL LOVE WHEN YOU HIT THE GROUND,
One thing is for SURE: this man has the worst rhymes you could even imagine. Pretty much to the point where they don't sound like rhymes. I can diss this song, y'know. Anytime. And that time will be RIGHT NOW.
*cracks knuckles* Let's do this, Liam Payne. Get ready.
I see your name is Liam Payne,
I see you made a trash song,
And you should be ready to burn in pain,
Then your life won't be catchin' along,
I see you tried to make an improvement,
It's called Bedroom Floor,
but I see no talent movement,
watch what happens when I SLAM open your bedroom's door,
(I will diss him more if you ask me in the comments but I don't wanna spend this entire post dissing this loser)
- Okay, okay, let's see what this loser has got.
2. Julia Michaels - Issues
3. Liam Payne - Strip that Down
Hahaha, that's funny, you all though this would be my worst song of the year. Well it isn't, things change a lot. - Okay, okay, let's see what this loser has got.
2. Julia Michaels - Issues
I know, this was barely ever in red. But once people actually turned on it, I started to realize this song is EVEN MORE BEYOND S**T than #3 was. Julia Michaels shows no vocal talent on this at all. Not at all. And that obnoxious du-du beat is ridiculous. The production is BEYOND crap + putrid + garbage + awful + terrible level. I guess I can understand the meaning however because let's admit it, everyone's got issues. But the vocals and the production combined are 8465438758293847378482 levels beyond C+P+G+A+T level. I have a word for you: LEAVE.

You actually thought Body Like A Back Road was in Dishonorable Mentions? You are wrong.
I will explain this PIECE OF UTTER DOGS**T IN A DISS TRACK
1. Sam Hunt - Body Like A Back Road
You call yourself Sam Hunt,
Why is Sam Smith in front?
I don't know why he is,
but you need to listen to this,
From House Party to Body Like A Back Road,
your talent level has changed a whole load,
House Party was great,
but Body Like A Back Road made me lose my fate,
I'm about to knock this kid to another state,
because that kid still has everything he got on his plate,
This utter crap has bad lyrical content,
So I decided to instead of talk about it, BURN IT!
He got the bad sound,
We have better ones in this generation and around,
He got the bad voice,
Making a terrible song was his choice,
This has no beat,
so when I listen to this I don't dance in my seat,
This is the definition of bad,
so bad it gets me mad
FINISH!
So that is my rap against Body Like A Back Road. What its lyrical content has to offer made this the official...
WORST SONG OF 2017!
I hope you enjoyed the post (and the joke)! I would like to announce this'll be my last post of the year (unless I get the Weekend Countdown post out). So I will see you all in 2018!
December 26, 2017
Blurbs (2017)
Frosty The Blurbman
- About half of these songs I have never talked about. Just goes to show that 6 months really isn't much time, but it feels like you can do a lot in that time (in which you actually can).
- THIS IS MY JAM! DEATH OF A BACHELOR! WOAH, OH! (REALLY! I'm that cringy)
- About half of these songs debuted back in 2016 before October. Maybe they didn't make the cut for the Year End for last year. I'm not saying it's bad or anything, it just made the list look more neutral and expected. *cough* the #1 I'll talk about later *cough*
- And there you have Praying making the cut for the list. I didn't really know what to expect, to be honest, but I can see why it would've made it. I'm actually surprised, but like I said, I didn't know what to think.
- Hmm, Cold made the list, even without Future. Super interesting. Keep in mind Don't Wanna Know made it higher, and not in a very good way. I still enjoy Cold, but not as much. It's fun, though.
- I'm Ready was ranked higher than Weak on its year-end chart. At least the better song was ranked higher. but it wasn't much better -- they're both s**t. AJR, please leave the music industry, please, I'll appreciate it.
- Ah yes, the album titled song for 24K Magic! PUT YOUR PINKY FINGER TO THE MOON! Like Cold and Don't Wanna Know, keep in mind that That's What I Like was ranked higher. God have mercy on us all.
- Little surprised What About Us made it. I'll take it though. This one's good. It's highly decreasing on the Countdown, in which I think I remember it dropping 12 spots, #9 to #21.
- I'm not talking about this s**t for you all.
- Unlike What About Us, I'm not surprised Thunder made the list. I don't think you were either. Either way, it's no surprise to see it. I'm proud of these guys for making two huge hits this year. So props to them for making it.
- Feels great (no Cheat Codes reference) to see Heavy again. It's nice to see some hits that I loved but completely forgot about on here. And no, I don't love this just because of Sasha.Actually, yes I do. There we go.
- Sorry Not Sorry and Galway Girl were ranked higher than I thought they would be. I went from underestimating the success these songs would get to overestimating it. Eecks dee.
- This is the second year where Heathens is on the Year-End chart. Interesting. Cool stuff, though!
- *sees #24 and #21* I'M ABOUT TO CRAP MY PANTS RIGHT NOW!
- I CAN MAKE YOUR HANDS CLAP! It's my favorite song right now! In the Top 20! Thank you all, Hits 1!
- Yes, that is definitely not an error. I did warm up on Closer. I think it was because, on Christmas, I was remixing some Chainsmokers music including this one, and it made the song a lot better.
- *sees #1* WOW, HITS 1! Thank you SO MUCH for being such a s**tbag to me! You are amazing!!!
